20 Gauge Choke Sizes
The table above lists the choke sizes for standard 20 gauge shotguns from least constrictive to most constrictive (cylinder to full). Cylinder is the least restrictive 20 gauge choke size at 0.625″. It is followed by Skeet (0.621″), Improved Cylinder (0.603″), Modified (0.595″), Improved Modified (0.590″), and Full (0.585″).
20 gauge is the second most popular shotgun gauge, trailing only that of the 12 gauge. The 20 gauge is used for upland game hunting for quail, pheasants, and dove. Shotguns in 20 gauge are also popular for skeet and trap shooting.
