16 Gauge Choke Sizes
The table above lists the choke sizes for standard 16 gauge shotguns from least constrictive to most constrictive (cylinder to full). Cylinder is the least restrictive 16 gauge choke size at 0.673″. It is followed by Skeet (0.665″), Improved Cylinder (0.661″), Modified (0.657″), and Full (0.624″).
16 gauge is a specialty shotgun that isn’t widely used due to the popularity of other gauges, but it does have a following for upland game such as quail, pheasants, and dove. Shotguns in 16 gauge are also popular for skeet and trap shooting.
