DIANA – MIDAS – WICKED WING
Browning choke tubes are manufactured by Browning North America and consist of several different choke tube systems. The most popular are Browning Standard Invector, Invector Plus, and Invector-DS chokes.
Chokes made by Browning include the Midas, Diana, and Wicked Wing Series. The Browning Midas is a sporting clay choke only available in Invector Plus. It features a gold accent tip, black oxide finish, and special coating to prevent wad buildup. The Browning Diana is another skeet choke with a gold finish and is constructed out of titanium nitride.
Finally, the Wicked Wing Series of chokes features the Goose Band choke. It only fits the Invector DS choke system, and it has an authentic looking leg band engraved on the extended portion.

3 Types of Browning Choke Tube Systems
Browning shotguns will have one of the three choke systems below. The choke type will be written on the choke tube or the shotgun barrel.
Standard Invector Choke Tubes
The Standard Invector choke tubes are the oldest choke tube system for Browning shotguns. It’s likely that if your shotgun was made in the early 1990’s or earlier that this is the type of choke tube you have. These chokes only fit Browning shotguns marked “Invector” for 12 gauge, 10 gauge , 16 gauge, 28 gauge, and .410 bore.
Invector Plus + Choke Tubes
The Invector Plus + choke tubes were made from the late 1990’s into the present. These types of chokes can only be installed in shotguns marked “Invector Plus” or “Invector +”.
Invector Plus choke tubes were made for 20 gauge and 12 gauge Browning shotguns. Invector Plus chokes are considerably longer than Invector chokes. .
Invector-DS Choke Tubes
Invector-DS choke tubes are the latest choke design installed on Browning shotguns. Most Browning chokes manufactured after 2016 will have the Invector-DS choke system installed.
These chokes will only fit Browning shotguns marked “Invector-DS” on the barrel. DS chokes are longer than Invector Plus chokes and the threads on DS chokes are on the muzzle end.
