The Carlson’s Rifled Choke Tube was specifically designed for precision accuracy right out of the packaging with slugs and sabots. Extensive testing went into development of this choke tube and the results are nothing short of amazing for long range deer hunting.
Rifling inside the choke spins the slug as it exits the barrel. This allows for greater stability in flight and increased accuracy downrange (up to 100 yards) compared to conventional choke tubes. The combination of this Rifled Choke Tube and 1 oz slugs can serve-up greater penetration on deer at max ranges. This rifled choke measures 0.730″ for Mobil chokes, which is close to bore diameter.
